Facilities

Our works area is 23,000 square feet with flat concrete flooring. Just over half our workspace is served by a five tonne travelling crane with a maximum hook height of 6.35 metres. Access to our work space is via two roller shutter gates, each 4.2 metres wide by 4.85 metres high.

There are two Nissan fork lift trucks for the unloading of materials etc. The smaller of the two has a lift capacity of 2 tonnes to a height of 3.5 metres and the larger truck has a lift capacity of 4 tonnes to a height of 4 metres. We also have a 7.5 tonne Ford Cargo flat bed truck for the collection of parts and materials and the delivery of completed works.

Our foundry uses propane / air fuel for our melts. We use the same fuel mix for our wax melt-out and ceramic shell bake. In house grit blasting is used following the assembly of bronzes and also for the pre- paint preparation of fabricated steelworks.

We offer welding and fabrication of most metals including Bronze, Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass. Our welding includes MIG, TIG, MMA (Arc). Also Gas and Plasma cutting. We have in-house machining including Centre Lathe Turning, Milling both horizontal and vertical. We also have machine drilling up to 30mm diameter and hole sawing and roto-boring up to 150mm. We have hydraulic metal tube bending equipment.
