'Couple' by Sean Henry
Near completion at our works August 2007.
At Liverpool Art and Sculpture Works we embrace everything to do with the production of artworks: Ceramics, paint, metal, paper, canvas, clay, lighting, audio, glass, pneumatics, wood, resins, hydraulics, plastics, polymers and silicones.
Our facilities attract Artists working in all forms media and scales from the smallest clay sculpture to large bronze and aluminium castings to giant steel fabrications .
If a piece of artwork creates a thought or a mood, or encourages a smile, or even an argument " it's a job well done ". We think it is that simple.

As well as assisting in the creation of new works of art we can offer our expertise ,experience and facilities in the conservation and restoration of older artworks.
Our workshop is extremely spacious and we can handle very large pieces of work but please talk to us even if your project is on a smaller scale. We have workspace and workshops suitable for small scale private projects.
Liverpools excellent transport links via road, air, and rail mean that our services are available to artists and commissioners of artworks throughout the United Kingdom and elsewhere in the world.
In our foundry we cast Bronze and Aluminium using the investment or lost wax process. We can assist with the entire process from making the silicon mould and GRP case through to the waxing of the mould and the making of the Ceramic hard mould to the pouring of the molten metal.
Our engineering workshop can accomodate fabrications on a large scale . We also have experience with electronics, lighting, hydraulics and pneumatics, plastics polymers and silicones. Our facilities, equipment and experience also enable us to undertake set design and scenic construction for the theatre and film industries.
With our equipment and experience we can offer the conservation and restoration of older works of art. We are pleased to travel to wherever our services are required.
We have spaces available for the creation or development of works. Using a pantograph we are also able to scale-up as required in a range of materials. Please see our facilities page for details of working sizes and lifting criteria.
There are lockable steel containers available for monthly rental. Converted twenty and forty foot containers have been modified for the secure storage of all types of artworks, moulds, works in progress and / or materials.
We will soon be opening a retail shop for the supply of materials and equipment. Please look at our materials and equipment main page for a list of the range of items we propose to hold in stock.
